A personal story that isn't "close to home" ... it is home. For any who's felt the void of a loss ... Inspired by and for my Mom

Through the current of the winds, a woman races through a tangled labyrinth to catch life, in a struggled pursuit of her youth, her ambition ... what was, what might have been. Her time, herself, in loss of her mother. Shattered in loss of her light. In loss of her tomorrow's. To live without life. Everyday. In silence. Forever.

Entrapped in a forest of twilight, all directions become as scattered as the woman's state herself. Unsure of what path to follow presently, the further she free falls into the emptiness of eternity. Into nothing. Time and space. The only truth is, she would rather be where her mother is. Even if "where" is nowhere or nothing at all. To be free of living without life. Wearing the mask of happiness and laughter without, only to hide being lost and lonely within.

Guided by the discovery of her mother's necklace, in the drowning silence, she follows the only piercing sound she can hear. Her Mother. The woman's desperate need to escape the constant drumming of emptiness leads her to her heart. The chest that holds the key to her escape.
